Trail Hub Concept - Margaret River

 

Master Planning and Feasibility study into the development of a trail hub in Margaret River to provide a world class nature based experience through the provision of services and products to locals and tourists promoting and enhancing an authentic Margaret River Experience.

 

Common Ground were engaged to prepare a vision to create a ‘hub’ for the community while specifically catering for mtber's and the wider adventure community. The development will provide a kick off point to trails, quality food, accommodation, equipment, service, trail information, interpretation, and tour commencement point. Accommodating the adventurer’s needs, these elements will assist those wishing to discover or revisit the towns natural assets. 

 

Situated on the banks of the Margaret River within the Northern extent of the town centre the site is an ideal location for the exploration of the adjoining trails and national parks. The proposed staged development will utilise the sites existing buildings to service the adventure tourists needs.

 

The project has gained planning approvals and stage one is anticipated to commence late 2013.
